Bogalusa Rebirth is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, proudly serving as a certified Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), USDA 502 Loan Packager, and a Local HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency. Our mission is to revitalize neighborhoods, expand access to affordable housing, and empower families through homeownership opportunities.
We specialize in building newly constructed, high-quality affordable homes for low to moderate-income families, ensuring they have access to safe and sustainable housing. In addition, we actively eradicate blight within our community, restoring and enhancing neighborhoods to improve the overall quality of life.
As a HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency, we provide comprehensive homebuyer education, financial literacy training, and mortgage readiness assistance, equipping families with the tools needed for long-term homeownership success. Our role as a USDA 502 Loan Packager allows us to assist eligible homebuyers in securing financing for affordable rural housing.
